A Dangerous Place for Christians
Christian persecution in parts of India has intensified in recent years, with radical groups attacking churches and disrupting worship services. In 2022, over 500 violent acts against Indian Christians were reported, with estimates that millions more face discrimination or unjust treatment. This scale of intolerance has led India to be ranked the 11th most dangerous place in the world to be a Christian.
Attacked for His Faith
In 2023 we helped secure the release of Rahul who had been beaten up and thrown into prison for running a peaceful Sunday service. He was held for 1 month without bail because of false accusations, but all charges against him have now been dropped.
Thanks to the support of our members, he is just one of hundreds of pastors we helped secure release from prison last year.
