Gayak’s Journey to Ministry

Although Gayak grew up in a Christian household, it took many years for him to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Now that he has a personal relationship with Christ, he has committed to sharing the Gospel as a Mission India Church Planter!

Gayak is glad to share his testimony with you and explain what motivates him in his ministry today.

I born and grew up in a tribal Christian family. I am the eldest son of my parents. I was living in my old tradition and was not aware that Jesus is the Savior of the world. Nominally I used to participate in all church activities to appear as good Christian young man, but my secret life was different than the life I used to live with my friends and in my church.

The light of the Gospel was so powerful to help me to realize my life was not in the right way to the Lord. For months together, I had struggled to search for peace. A restless life was intervened by the love of Jesus, which could mold me to humble myself and give my life to the hands of the Lord.

In the year of 2001, graciously I received Jesus as my personal Savior. I began a new life with Jesus.

My strong-willed nature led me to challenge the world, to stand firm with my testimony before the animists who live in the jungle and mountains, to share the love of Christ with them.

I do acknowledge the people in darkness need the Gospel. It is only the love of Jesus and the light of the Gospel that can release and rescue someone to become a child of God for eternity.

I praise God for His plan for me and thank Mission India for its commitment to the extension of His Kingdom.

We’re grateful to Gayak for sharing his testimony with us! Join us in praying a blessing over his ministry as he pursues his passion to reach animist communities.
